Job Description
Rehabilitation Program Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Program Specialist to join our team at a state-of-the-art, 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital. This facility is focused on the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced severe injuries or illnesses. The role encompasses providing customized and intense rehabilitation tailored to the unique needs of patients recovering from various conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans for patients recovering from stroke, brain injuries, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic injuries.
Provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient health, function, and quality of life.
Monitor patient progress and adjust rehabilitation programs as necessary to meet evolving needs.
Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes and recovery strategies.
Document and report on patient progress to ensure continuity of care and adherence to rehabilitation protocols.

Qualifications

Relevant educational background in rehabilitation sciences, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or a related field.
Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to patient-centered care and improving patient outcomes.

Work Schedule

This position requires availability for a night shift, from 19:00 to 07:00.
