Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) nurse position located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This role involves circulating in a specialized surgical unit focusing on open heart procedures, including total joints, spine fusions, neurosurgical, robotic, cardiovascular, and general surgical procedures. The candidate will work in a facility equipped with advanced technology, such as the Synaptive Medical Modus V robotic digital microscope for neurosurgical procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification, BLS certification, Tennessee nursing license, 0 years of experience required, located in Tennessee
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience circulating in orthopedic and spine surgical procedures; neurosurgical and robotic experience preferred but not required
• Additional Information: Must demonstrate critical thinking and customer service skills. Procedures performed include total joints, spine fusions, neurosurgical procedures such as craniotomies, robotic procedures, general surgical procedures, urology, and cardiovascular surgeries including open heart. The facility maintains a focus on advanced technology, including a unique robotic system used exclusively in Tennessee.
