Nursing Director

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develops and implements departmental goals aligned with KRMCs mission, vision, and strategic plan.
• Clinical Practice & Quality: Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Operational Management: Assumes 24-hour responsibility for staffing, patient care, and service operations.
• Professional Development: Coaches, mentors, and develops staff, fostering a supportive and high-performing team.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Facilitates effective communication and collaboration among physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.
• AONL Nurse Leader Competencies: Demonstrates Communication & Relationship Management, Knowledge of the Healthcare Environment, Leadership, Professionalism, and Business Skills.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in critical care and 3 year in a leadership role.
• Certification: BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross with 3 months of hire date; if permitted through licensed scope of practice. Basic EKG competency
