Here, you will make an impact by:Serving as the single-threaded marketing partner to industry leadership, translating revenue and growth targets into a globally integrated marketing plan with robust KPIsLeading 3Ms global marketing strategy for the Automotive, Commercial Vehicles, Rail, and Transportation Safety verticals including brand story, messaging, positioning, content, digital, campaign, events, account-based marketing, channel marketing, and analyst engagement strategies.Develop compelling and differentiated messaging, value propositions and storylines that connect 3M's expertise, products and solutions for customers across Automotive and adjacent industries.Owning the end-to-end customer journey across web, digital, events, sales, distribution, and channel touchpoints, identifying gaps and prioritizing improvements that lift engagement and conversion.Owning end-to-end new product introduction (NPI) commercialization — launch strategy, bill of materials, sales enablement, and claims planning — delivering launches on time and in full with high product and vertical content health.Develop and execute global marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand for 3M products and solutions.Setting, owning, and delivering demand generation and pipeline outcomes — marketing-sourced and influenced pipeline, marketing ROI, and new customer acquisition — using analytics to steer investment toward the highest-return initiatives.Drive product and customer stories with an industry lens and ensure they are delivered through industry-specific digital channels, campaigns, analysts, press, events and 3M executives.Use market insights and competitive analysis to shape our sales, go-to-market, and industry marketing approach.Develop, support, and deliver keynotes and panels across industry conferences and tradeshows. Drive execution of our global marketing strategy by collaborating with Marketing Center and Area teams. Work with our channel and distribution marketing teams on industry aligned channel marketing strategies.Build and maintain relationships with executives, customers and industry analysts.Leading a global team of industry marketers and developing marketing talent.Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration (completed and verified prior to start).Ten (10) years' combined experience in B2B Industry Marketing, Product Marketing, Business Development, and/or Business Management in a private, public, government or military environment ​Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Experience in automotive, commercial vehicle, fleet, rail, transportation safety, or adjacent mobility and infrastructure markets. Experience marketing to OEM and Tier 1 engineering and design audiences, as well as to fleet, aftermarket, and public sector customers. Broad B2B marketing experience across campaigns, digital, events, account-based marketing, brand, and channel or partner marketing. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across countries, divisions, and functions and influence business outcomes without direct authority. Fluency with marketing analytics and platforms (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, business intelligence, and web analytics tools) and the ability to translate data into investment decisions. Strong executive presence and communication skills, including experience presenting to senior business leaders and customer executives.
