Business Line DescriptionNXP’s Front End Operations plays an essential role in the company’s success by ensuring manufacturing excellence and delivery of high quality, scalable, and cost-competitive semiconductor devices to create a winning advantage for our Customers. Job Summary:• Identification and reduction of recurrent machine faults• Sourcing and installing new equipment• Reducing defectivity• Defining tool maintenance procedures• Training technicians and peers• Improving tool utilization and availability• Reducing cost• Reducing scrap• Supporting development activities• Developing and writing specifications• Implementation of Six-Sigma statistical process control methods• Capacity planning and modeling• Participating in and/or leading cross-functional and lean activity teamsJob Qualifications:• BS in an engineering discipline, Mechanical Engineering desirable.• 5 years’ experience in equipment engineering in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment. • Previous experience in at least one or more of the following tools/processes required: Applied Materials Producer, Applied Materials Centura.• Experience in Applied Materials Endura, Ultima, and RTA platforms is a plus.• Ability to generate, analyze, and interpret equipment performance data and produce a timely action plan to resolve recurring equipment failures• Demonstrated presentation skills.
