COMPANY OVERVIEW: A rapidly growing company providing air emission controls systems to the refining, chemical, marine and oilfield industries.

POSITION TITLE: Account Manager

COMPENSATION: Competitive Salary + DOE

SUMMARY: As an Account Manager you will play a crucial role in driving sales by providing technical expertise and support to customers throughout the sales process

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop a deep understanding of the technical specifications, features, and applications of the products or services offered.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings.
• Translate technical information into compelling value propositions for customers.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Assist in pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution proposals.
• Address customer inquiries and provide technical support throughout the sales cycle.
• Build rapport and establish credibility with customers by demonstrating technical expertise and understanding of their requirements.
• Conduct needs assessments and recommend tailored solutions based on customer specifications.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
• Assist in preparing sales quotes, proposals, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer needs.
• Work closely with the sales team to develop pricing strategies and negotiate terms to close deals.
• Provide input on product positioning and differentiation based on technical features and customer feedback.
• Serve as a resource for customers to address technical inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and resolve product-related challenges.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues as needed.
• Provide post-sale support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• Previous experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or a related role is preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex technical concepts.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
