Quality Inspector Shift/Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: $19/hr+ DOE

Location: Santa Fe, TX

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector / Receiver to join our client's team. This position is focused on verifying incoming materials and ensuring high standards of quality are met from the moment products arrive at our client's facility. You will be responsible for matching physical items against shipping documentation, performing visual inspections for defects, and maintaining accurate quality logs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receiving & Verification: Inspect incoming shipments and verify physical components against Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and purchase orders to ensure complete accuracy.
• Visual Inspection: Conduct thorough visual quality checks on valves, raw materials, and components to identify any physical defects, damage, or shipping discrepancies.
• Documentation: Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date records of all received materials, inspection results, and compliance documentation.
• Defect Handling: Quarantine, tag, and accurately report any non-conforming or damaged products to supervisory personnel via NCRs to isolate defective materials and prevent them from advancing through production.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse, logistics, and production teams to ensure smooth and accurate hand-offs of received goods.
• Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving and inspection area.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in shipping/receiving, warehousing, or basic quality control is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and maintaining inspection logs.
• Ability to clearly read and interpret shipping documents, BOLs, and basic material specifications.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, and lifting components as required.
