- Utilizes the nursing process to identify and meet the needs of the patients.
- Identifies changes in patient's condition and intervenes appropriately.
- Provides patient care for a given patient assignment, either as a primary caregiver or by delegating and supervising as a team leader.
- Works collaboratively with physician. Reviews orders. Reports abnormal lab values and significant changes in patient findings.
- Works collaboratively with patients and family to establish a plan of care, which would include an assessment of psychosocial needs.
- Complies with all mandatory reporting requirements.
- Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing
- 3-5 years clinical experience in a Women's Health environment
- Registered Nurse: CA
- Basic Life Support - CPR
- Demonstrates ability to work within a team model of patient-care delivery.
- Demonstrates proficient basic nursing skills and specialty skills.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the nursing process and the ability to apply these principles appropriately.
- Demonstrates a caring, compassionate attitude toward others.
- Relates with patients/visitors empathetically and tactfully.
- Demonstrates ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently.
- Demonstrates clear, effective written and oral English skills, and objective active-listening skills.
