Iso Experienced Head Dressage Groom In Northern Virginia

SJP Dressage with dressage trainer Stacy Pattison and Kelvedon Farm based in Virginia are in search of an exceptional Head Groom to work alongside our trainer in the competitive developmemt of our 8 dressage sporthorses ranging from ages 5 to 15 yeats old. Our emphasis is quality over quantity. We are in search of someone who prides themselves on turning out well groomed, healthy and happy horses. We provide the individualized care that each horse needs to allow them to be the best they can be and are in search of that special someone who can provide that care and attention to our handful of happy athletic horses.

Previous dressage show barn amd young horse experience is desired. Knowledge of properly handeling a horse, tacking up and caring for tack, feeding, grooming, clipping, bandageing, trailering, injections etc is necessary. Ideally you work well with your co-workers, have a sense of humor, maintain a tidy barn and are focused on the well being of the horses. 48 hrs per week. Highly competitive salary. Housing and possible board for one horse . This is not a riding position however for the right candidate it could be. Winters are in Florida amd housing is also provided
