EARLY LEARNING LEAD TEACHER

Job Location: Skagit Valley Family YMCA Laventure Early Learning Center - Mount Vernon, WA 98273 Salary: $19.00 - $22.00 hourly Shift: Day Employees working in Early Learning & School Age programs qualify for 50% discount on tuition for YMCA childcare services! Responsibilities Develop a positive environment for children, parents, and staff. Demonstrate an understanding of the developmental needs of children and families. Be a positive role model and demonstrate good judgment, and abide by program rules. Supervise and assure proper safety for a group of children. Communicate with and maintain positive relationships with families. Qualifications At least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or a GED. Have experience working with children 5-12 years of age. Child development knowledge and experience preferred. Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
