Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments of patients, request diagnostic tests, and develop tailored care strategies
• Identify and address acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions, collaborating meaningfully with attending physicians or operating independently based on your credentials

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Needed

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in New York
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
