You will work closely with the accounting team and operating companies while becoming a go-to resource for accounting questions, research, and process improvements.Why This Opportunity Stands OutGet broad exposure to multiple areas of accounting rather than being limited to one function.Take ownership of important balance sheet accounts and become a key contributor to the close process.Gain hands-on experience with AP automation, ERP systems, fixed assets, cash application, and intercompany accounting.Work in an environment where processes are evolving and your ideas can help shape how the accounting function operates.Build a strong foundation for long-term career growth as the company continues to expand.What You Will DoTake ownership of balance sheet reconciliations for multiple entities and help ensure accounts are accurate, supported, and ready for review.Participate in weekly and month-end close activities, including journal entries, recurring entries, account analysis, and financial statement review.Reconcile bank and intercompany accounts and work with operating companies to resolve discrepancies.Apply customer cash receipts and research outstanding items to keep accounts current and accurate.Manage accounts payable for one operating company, including invoice processing, expense verification, and payment coordination.Play a key role in evaluating and implementing AP automation technology as the company continues to scale.Maintain the fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation.Administer the corporate credit card program and ensure expenses are properly coded and recorded.Assist with year-end audit and tax requests, financial reporting, and other accounting projects.Serve as a resource for ERP questions, accounting research, and process-related issues across the organization.What You BringBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.2+ years of accounting or finance experience.Solid understanding of accounting principles and journal entries.Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Detail-oriented with excellent organization and follow-through.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a growing accounting team.Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.The Ideal CandidateYou are an accountant who wants to learn by doing.
