Housing Compliance Specialist

Benefits & Extras: Meaningful work supporting affordable housing and community programs Health, dental, and vision coverage with employer contributions Employer-paid long-term disability coverage Mandatory 401(k) with a 7.5% employer contribution 2 weeks of vacation accruing immediately 8 hours of sick time accrued monthly 13 paid holidays, including an extended holiday office closure Annual emergency and bereavement leave Compensation: $21.50/hour What You’ll Be Doing: Monitor compliance with HUD, Section 8, Public Housing, RAD, PBV, and LIHTC requirements Audit tenant and applicant files for accuracy and regulatory compliance Translate changing regulations into updated policies, forms, and procedures Prepare compliance reports, statistical data, and recommendations Serve as Fair Housing Coordinator and evaluate reasonable accommodation requests Identify compliance issues, fraud, or policy violations and elevate appropriately Partner with leadership and IT to maintain effective systems and processes What You’ll Need to be Considered: Two-year degree in Business Administration or equivalent education/experience Knowledge of HUD housing programs and regulatory requirements Housing Choice Voucher or Tax Credit Compliance certification preferred Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills Valid Texas driver’s license and ability to qualify for fleet insurance Ability to work effectively with residents, property owners, agencies, and diverse communities #J-18808-Ljbffr ITAC Solutions
