A dynamic opportunity awaits a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide dedicated coverage at an elementary school site near Littleton, CO. This full-time contract position extends through the school's winter break, filling in for a provider on medical leave. You’ll step into a well-supported environment, working with a caseload of approximately 40 students that spans elementary through some PreK. Most student needs are mild-to-moderate, ensuring a manageable and rewarding professional experience.

Your support will be essential not only in maintaining seamless therapy services during the leave but also in collaborating to address any compensatory services when the current SLP returns. This role calls for someone ready to work independently at one site and engage with a diverse range of students, fostering their communication growth throughout your assignment.

Qualifications:

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Licensed (or eligible to obtain licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Colorado
• School-based SLP experience, especially managing elementary and PreK caseloads
• Comfort and proficiency with mild-to-moderate speech/language needs
• Availability to work full time through the duration of the assignment
• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with staff and families
• Please note: Clinical Fellows (CFs) and SLPAs are not eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services according to students’ IEPs
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement therapy plans, and document progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educational staff and families
• Provide direct and consultative services, supporting ongoing student development
• Assist with transition and compensatory services when the permanent SLP returns
