About the Facility Location The Canton-Potsdam area features educational institutions including Clarkson University and State University of New York-Potsdam, along with recreational facilities such as Cheel Arena and various outdoor trails. Visitors can explore attractions like the North Country Children's Museum, local breweries, and state forest areas that provide outdoor activities throughout the year. About the Clinician's Workday The anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthesia services during 5x8-hour day shifts Monday through Friday from 7a-3:30p in a rural critical access setting. The clinician will manage inpatient cases, epidurals, and general anesthesia procedures treating all ages with patient volume of 10-15. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required along with board certification and OB experience. The position may involve CRNA supervision with credentialing requiring 60 days completion time.
