Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship Compliance Specialist

About the role We are looking for a Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship Compliance Specialist on a contract assignment (11 months, W-2). The role is remote, with up to 15% travel. The specialist will ensure compliance with prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements for renewable energy projects, auditing contractor data, creating status reports, and serving as the main point of contact for labor compliance. Key Responsibilities Review contractor data inputs related to prevailing wage and apprenticeship. Compare data against project tax and finance criteria and contract exhibits. Verify completeness and correctness of wage data. Create status reports and corrective action notes for management; input data into compliance dashboards. Review payroll to confirm wage accuracy, fringe benefits contributions, and other labor compliance elements per client requirements. Gather certified payrolls and related documentation, perform detailed audits, compose findings reports, conduct discrepancy research, and provide ongoing support for prevailing wage labor compliance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher. At least 3 years of experience in wage compliance/payroll administration.
