ABC Warehouse is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support the daily operations of the Advertising Department at our Headquarters in Pontiac, MI . This full-time role combines marketing coordination and reporting with print production management — overseeing the estimating, awarding, and tracking of printed projects on behalf of ABC Warehouse, Hawthorne, Mickey Shorr, and US Appliance.
The position requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across stores, vendors, and media channels in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, responsive, and comfortable working with internal teams, store personnel, and external advertising and print partners.
Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities:
Print Production Management
• Estimate, award, and track production of printed projects on behalf of ABC Warehouse, Hawthorne, Mickey Shorr, and US Appliance
• Confirm key elements, parameters, and deadlines with the Marketing Director, Creative Manager, Designers, and other internal clients
• Identify and maintain a list of potential print vendors and request competitive cost estimates
• Award projects to vendors based on price, ability to meet deadlines, and other relevant factors
• Follow up on projects through completion, including arranging delivery to the final destination (internal or external)
• Ensure final printed product meets or exceeds client expectations; communicate with vendors to address shortcomings or resolve issues
Reporting & Communication
• Prepare and distribute performance and activity reports to Buyers and internal stakeholders
• Communicate store advertising needs and coordinate required materials with the Advertising team
• Provide regular updates on campaign execution and store support activities
Store & Advertising Coordination
• Coordinate and send marketing and promotional materials to retail store locations
• Work directly with stores to ensure they receive accurate signage, promotional assets, and advertising support
• Manage day-to-day requests from stores and internal departments related to advertising and promotions
• Work shifts at various marketing events as needed
Media & Campaign Support
• Assist in trafficking television/streaming advertising spots to media vendors and stations
• Assist in coordinating advertising schedules and ensuring campaigns launch on time
• Maintain organized records of campaign details, schedules, and creative assets
Digital Listings Management
• Manage and maintain company business listings, including Google Business Profiles and Yelp Business accounts
• Update store hours, promotions, and location information as needed
• Monitor listings for accuracy and respond to internal requests for updates
Administrative & Operational Support
• Enter and maintain job numbers within internal systems
• Support the daily operational needs of the Advertising Department
• Maintain organized documentation for campaigns, invoices, and advertising materials
• Assist with general administrative tasks as required
Marketing Coordinator Qualifications:
Education & Experience
• High school diploma required; diploma or coursework in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred
• Previous administrative, marketing, retail, or office experience is an asset
• Experience coordinating print production projects or working with print vendors preferred
Skills & Competencies
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage routine tasks accurately and consistently
• Comfortable working with deadlines and multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
• Experience with marketing platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, or email marketing tools preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including with external vendors
• Basic understanding of advertising, retail operations, print production, or marketing coordination is preferred
Work Schedule
• Full-time position
• May require additional hours during major sales events or promotional periods (e.g., Black Friday)
