Director Of FinanceOur client is seeking a Director of Finance to serve as a strategic business partner to executive leadership while leading the organization's finance and accounting function. This role extends beyond traditional financial reporting, providing leadership in financial planning, treasury management, business analytics, ERP optimization, and operational decision support. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can build scalable financial processes, develop a high-performing team, and provide the financial insight necessary to support continued growth, operational excellence, and strategic initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that support long-term growth and profitabilityLead the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, inventory accounting, and financial reportingOversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and timely GAAP-compliant financial statementsDevelop annual budgets, rolling forecasts, long-range financial plans, and executive dashboards with meaningful KPIsProvide financial modeling, profitability analysis, and business insights to support strategic decision-making, pricing, capital investments, and operational initiativesManage treasury operations, banking relationships, cash flow forecasting, lending facilities, and working capital optimizationCoordinate annual audits, tax planning, regulatory filings, and ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policiesLead ERP optimization, financial systems enhancements, reporting automation, and process improvement initiativesPartner cross-functionally with operations, engineering, sales, purchasing, and other business leaders to improve financial performance and operational efficiencyBuild, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team while establishing scalable processes, accountability, and continuous improvementRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred8+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experienceManufacturing or inventory-based industry experience strongly preferredStrong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controlsExperience managing treasury functions, banking relationships, cash flow, and capital planningExperience leading ERP implementations or optimization initiatives (NetSuite or similar ERP preferred)Demonstrated success improving financial processes and developing high-performing teamsAcquisition or post-acquisition integration experience preferredStrong analytical, leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making skills with the ability to influence business outcomes
