Admin-Call Desk Rep

Volt is immediately hiring for a Dispatchers / Call desk Admin for a company located in Irvine, CA.

As a Dispatchers / Call desk Admin you will:

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch field service technicians nationwide while maintaining real-time visibility of service activities.
• Serve as the primary point of coordination between customers, technicians, and internal teams.
• Confirm service appointments and provide customers with accurate technician ETAs and status updates.
• Create, update, monitor, and close Service Orders (SOs) and Return Authorizations (RAs).
• Maintain accurate and complete service documentation to support operational tracking and invoicing processes.
• Coordinate parts and logistics activities, including tracking shipments and confirming deliveries.
• Ensure technicians receive the necessary materials and information required to complete service calls efficiently.
• Manage inbound service calls, emails, and requests while prioritizing urgent issues appropriately.
• Monitor schedules and proactively address potential delays or service disruptions.
• Communicate updates clearly and professionally while maintaining a high level of customer service.

This is a full-time opportunity Monday - Friday

The ideal candidate will have:

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of administrative, dispatching, call center, customer service, or operations support experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Experience with service management, dispatching, CRM, or ticketing systems is a plus.

Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Days: Monday through Friday

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
