Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator (Temporary)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator for a temporary opportunity with one of our Cincinnati-area clients. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a manufacturing environment who enjoys working in a fast-paced office setting where no two days are the same.

This is not a sales position. Instead, you'll serve as a key point of contact for customers while coordinating shipments, tracking orders, updating records, and ensuring the smooth flow of information between customers, production, and logistics teams. The ideal candidate thrives in an environment with multiple moving parts and can effectively manage priorities while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include:

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, shipments, delivery schedules, and product availability
• Coordinate with manufacturing, shipping, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Enter and maintain accurate customer, order, and shipment data within company systems
• Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates to customers
• Track shipments and assist with resolving delivery issues or delays
• Process and maintain documentation related to orders, shipping, and inventory movements
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure customer expectations are met
• Handle inbound calls and emails while providing professional and timely support
• Assist with reporting, data entry projects, and general administrative tasks as needed
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications include:

• Previous customer service experience in a manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or supply chain environment
• Strong data entry and administrative skills
• Experience working with orders, shipping documentation, inventory, or logistics processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing customer service experience who enjoys coordinating orders, supporting logistics operations, and being the central point of communication between customers and internal teams. Pay ranges from $23.00 to $25.00 per hour and the position operates on a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday.
