Job HighlightsEmbrace the opportunity to lead with compassion as a Charge RN in our Women’s Services department! We are currently looking for a committed Charge RN for our Women’s Services unit. This full-time position operates during the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM , featuring a rotating schedule and options for self-scheduling, providing both flexibility and a chance to take on a leadership role.
Experience a consistent work rhythm with every other weekend off and no on-call duties. While a background in Labor & Delivery is preferred, we encourage experienced RNs who are eager to advance their careers and lead with excellence to apply. CompensationPay Range: $32.77 - $52.43 per hour

Job SummaryThe Charge RN will provide leadership and coordinate staffing within the unit while ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and the achievement of clinical objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Assign, direct, educate, and supervise nursing and support staff during the assigned shift.
- Assess daily patient care needs and create patient care assignments, ensuring appropriate care is provided.
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers to achieve quality outcomes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify issues affecting desired outcomes.
- Address patient care complaints through established channels.
- Provide input on hiring, training, directing, developing, and evaluating staff.
- Maintain a constant state of alertness and safety.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Graduate from an accredited nursing school or equivalent educational background for licensing.
ExperienceA minimum of one year of experience as a registered nurse is required.
Physical Requirements- Frequent oral communication and standing/walking.
- Regular lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, reaching, and data entry.
- Regular use of vision for near and far distances, as well as color differentiation.
- Frequent use of smell and hearing for communication and safety alerts.
- Occasional lifting of objects weighing 25-50 lbs and moving patients.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, and driving.
- Rare crawling and running.
Required certifications vary by state, including:
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Nurse (RN) license specific to the state of work location
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) or equivalent certifications (e.g., NRP, PALS) - AHA or AAP
