About the Role

The Assistant Superintendent will assist the Superintendent with day-to-day field operations on multifamily projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with day-to-day field operations on multifamily projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and site activities to maintain project schedules.
• Monitor construction quality and ensure work conforms to plans, specifications and company standards.
• Conduct site walks, inspections and punch-list activities.
• Assist with short-term scheduling and coordination of upcoming trades.
• Enforce site safety requirements and maintain a safe, organized project environment.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors and design teams.
• Help manage RFIs, inspections, deliveries and field documentation.
• Identify potential construction issues and work with the project team to resolve them quickly.
• Support projects through framing, MEP rough-in, interiors, finishes and turnover.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial or multifamily construction experience preferred.
• Experience with a multifamily general contractor is highly desirable.
• Exposure to garden-style, wrap, podium or other large-scale residential construction.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field operations.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, organization and subcontractor-management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment.
• Based in or willing to commute throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Pay range and compensation package
