About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Human Resources to serve as the organization's top HR leader and strategic advisor to executive management. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with the company's priorities, ensuring operational excellence across all HR areas. This includes leadership in workforce strategy, labor and employee relations, talent acquisition, total rewards, talent development, HR operations, compliance, and employee engagement. The role also involves close partnership with executive leadership to strengthen organizational effectiveness, develop leaders, and foster a positive workplace culture. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, public administration, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 10 years' progressive HR leadership experience. A minimum of 7 years' in managing HR teams and significant experience in a unionized environment, including collective bargaining and labor relations, are essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in nonprofit, real estate, property management, public sector, or similarly complex organizations, and experience with HRIS systems. Key skills include business acumen, exceptional judgment, problem-solving, decision-making, and the ability to build trusted relationships and influence at all levels. The role requires a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and a comprehensive knowledge of employment laws.
