Non-Destructive Testing Technician

Responsibilities Conduct non‑destructive tests using techniques such as: Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Visual Inspection (VT) Set up, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment, including ultrasonic units such as DSM GO+ and Danatronics meters Use power tools such as angle grinders and die grinders for surface preparation Evaluate inspection results and determine acceptance or rejection based on industry codes and client requirements Prepare clear, accurate, and timely inspection reports Work collaboratively with clients and maintain strong client relationships on‑site Perform additional tasks as assigned to support project and operational needs Why Join Nova Data Testing? Requirements Previous experience as an NDT Technician (UT, MT, PT, or VT preferred) Current NDT certifications- Level I or II Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50–75% of the time Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently and in team environments Flexibility with changing schedules High level of professionalism and reliability Ability to read, write, and speak English Physical Demands & Work Environment Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and kneel for prolonged periods (shifts may be 12+ hours) Good visual acuity, including near, distance, and color vision Ability to wear a full‑face respirator and other PPE for extended periods Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally Comfortable climbing and working from ladders, stairs, and scaffolding (sometimes 100+ ft) Comfortable working in confined spaces Ability to work in extreme heat and cold Ability to work around industrial hazards Benefits Starting Wage: $25-$35 per hour (1.5X overtime) depending on experience $35+ available for experienced technicians with demonstrated leadership Salary available depending on certifications and experience Most projects offer significant overtime opportunities, allowing motivated technicians to increase their annual earnings Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid travel expenses and competitive per diem for all out‑of‑town assignments Retirement saving plan (IRA) Paid Time Off Potential for bonus Professional Development Assistance #J-18808-Ljbffr Nova Data Testing
