Sr. Interventional Radiology Technologist

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures and serve as a team lead. This role works closely with physicians during complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in IR, Angiography, and Diagnostic Radiology.

Key Responsibilities

Perform imaging procedures in Interventional Radiology, Angiography, and Diagnostic Radiology.

Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Support vascular access, drain placements, biopsies, and other image-guided procedures.

Assist with Neuro IR procedures, including cerebral angiography, stroke thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, AVM/AVF embolization, and vascular stenting.

Serve as a team lead and help coordinate daily workflow.

Explain procedures and preparation requirements to patients and families.

Follow all patient safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

Associate's degree or equivalent education.

5+ years of relevant imaging experience.

Active ARRT certification.

Active Maryland State License.

Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification.

CT certification at the advanced level is preferred/required as applicable.

Ideal Candidate

An experienced imaging technologist with strong Interventional Radiology and/or Neuro Interventional Radiology experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and supporting complex procedures.
