Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students and staff through a maternity leave coverage in a dynamic school setting from October 1st to December 15th, 2026. This assignment focuses on providing speech-language pathology services at two closely situated campuses (within three miles), primarily serving a population with mild needs, along with a few high school self-contained students.


In this vital role, you'll deliver evidence-based therapy and evaluations, collaborating with experienced educators and families to foster student success. Your expertise will directly impact individuals across varied grade levels in a supportive educational environment.


What you'll bring:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current SLP-CCC certification or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Previous work in school, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP development and documentation.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle a caseload with primarily mild needs and occasional higher needs students.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Provide direct services individually or in small groups at both assigned locations.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and federal guidelines.
• Collaborate regularly with families and staff, sharing strategies and progress reports.
• Support positive learning outcomes and inclusion for all students served.

For this contract, you'll receive a competitive pay rate of $40-$50 per hour, reflecting your experience and the value you bring to the team.
