The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.Essential Responsibilities:Develop, test, and maintain Java Spring Boot applications and services.Design and integrate REST and SOAP APIs to support business functionality.Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.Build, enhance, and troubleshoot database queries, stored procedures, and SQL code.Support application deployments using DevOps practices and Jenkins pipelines.Develop and maintain Linux shell scripts to automate operational tasks.Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and production support activities.Contribute to cloud-based application development and modernization efforts, including Azure initiatives.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experienceTwo to three years of relevant experienceRequired Skills & ExperienceExperience with Java and Spring Boot application development.Knowledge of RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services, and system integrations.Experience with Oracle SQL, MS SQL Server, and general Database Design Concepts.Understanding of SQL/PLSQL development, query optimization, and data management.Experience writing and maintaining Linux Shell Scripts.Familiarity with Agile Development Methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, and Jenkins.Understanding of Cloud Technologies and modern application architectures, with exposure to AzureSome experience with Azure, Apache Kafka, Git, Jira, and InfoLease.***This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.******This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.***If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.
