Server/Culinary Assistant – Amira Choice Champlin Amira Choice Champlin features a full range of senior living options, a full schedule of activities and programs, as well as the comfort and security of full-time, around-the-clock caregivers for personalized care. We offer 133 senior units with a mix of Independent/Assisted Living and Memory Care. Located in Champlin, MN we boast an exceptional team of caregivers who believe in our mission to heal, discover, and educate for longer healthier, more meaningful lives. Managed by Ebenezer, Minnesota's largest senior living operator. Ebenezer is looking for a Server/Culinary Assistant to join our team. This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Assisted Living Community. Nutrition services schedule includes: 12 hours per two weeks Day/Early evening shifts: 4:00pm-7:00pm Every other weekend Saturday/Sunday and holiday rotation Responsibilities Serve meals and ensure that the dining area is clean and inviting. Follow meal serving schedule and procedures. Offer resident meal choices and meet resident’s specific dietary needs. Use proper safety and sanitation techniques. Follow dining room cleaning schedule and procedures. Follow proper procedures for dining room set‑up. Follow proper workflow to stay on task. Learn and become proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service. Ensure all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift. Promote and encourage positive resident relations and satisfaction. Welcome residents and initiate conversation. Accommodate resident requests such as food substitution, change in seating, etc. Listen to any complaints and respond appropriately, referring issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate. Required Qualifications Less than 1 year experience. Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma. 1 year experience.
