Senior Technical Recruiter

We are partnering with a highly successful, technology-driven financial services firm seeking an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to join its growing Talent Acquisition team in Chicago. This is a high-ownership recruiting role supporting sophisticated technology teams in an extremely competitive talent market. The recruiter will partner directly with engineering leaders to develop hiring strategies, identify and engage hard-to-find technical talent, and manage searches from initial intake through offer and close. What You'll Do Own full-cycle recruiting for experienced technology hires across software engineering, infrastructure, hardware and other specialized technical functions Partner closely with engineering leaders to understand hiring needs and develop thoughtful recruiting and sourcing strategies Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing market intelligence, candidate insights and recommendations throughout the search process Build creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive technical talent in highly competitive markets Conduct market mapping and develop long-term pipelines for difficult-to-fill and specialized positions Manage candidates throughout the entire interview process while providing a high-touch, white-glove candidate experience Partner with hiring teams to develop effective interview processes and candidate assessment strategies Use recruiting data and pipeline analytics to evaluate search health, identify challenges and adjust strategy when needed Lead offer strategy and negotiations while effectively closing highly sought-after candidates Collaborate with recruiters and broader People teams across a global organization Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, tools and candidate experience What They're Looking For 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a significant focus on experienced technical hiring Strong track record recruiting software engineers and other highly specialized technical talent Experience within technology, financial services, professional services or another highly competitive recruiting environment Demonstrated ability to source and engage passive candidates rather than relying primarily on inbound applicants Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to advise and influence senior engineering leaders Ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into effective recruiting strategies Experience managing multiple searches and priorities in a fast-moving environment Strong communication, organization and relationship-building skills Data-driven approach to recruiting and pipeline management Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and modern sourcing tools; Greenhouse experience is a plus Comfortable leveraging technology, data and AI to improve recruiting efficiency and outcomes Why This Opportunity This is an opportunity to join a global, technology-first organization where recruiting is viewed as a strategic function.
