Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

Job Description

Join our dynamic team in providing high-quality care to patients in our Surgical Orthopedics Med-Surg unit. This hybrid unit specializes in both surgical and medical patients, including those admitted from the emergency department. We provide a range of surgical services including general, orthopedic, bariatric, and urology.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical and medical patients.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Radiology, and Social Services.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during the recovery process.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Cerner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a med-surg environment.
• Active RN license in Maryland or valid Compact license.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience with Cerner documentation system preferred.
