Deputy Project Leader

A leading organization is seeking a Project Manager in Tysons, VA to oversee complex projects from planning through completion. This role will coordinate schedules, budgets, stakeholders, and delivery efforts across multiple project sites.

• Manage projects through all phases of the lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
• Develop and maintain project documentation such as schedules, budgets, risk registers, procurement logs, and project reports
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, customers, and stakeholders to support successful project delivery
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to maintain timelines and objectives
• Support planning activities, including resource allocation, milestone tracking, work breakdown structures, and change management

• 5 to 10 years of relevant project management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain SCI/PSD access
• Experience managing complex engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of project schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors, customers, and cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• PMP certification or other project management certifications
• Experience supporting government, defense, or mission-critical projects
• Background in construction project management or engineering environments
• Experience with project controls, RFIs, change orders, procurement, and quality management processes
• Experience managing multiple project sites simultaneously
