Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Responsibilities Assist in all phases of the design process on a variety of projects in size and scopeGenerate creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a projectFoster a productive partnership with the client and project delivery team through regular communication and collaboration Utilize appropriate software at a proficient level to create graphics and presentation materialsSupport the integration of the design process with other workflows and project tasksCollaborate with project teams serving as concept champions throughout the projectExecute coordination and integration of architectural and consultant documentsApply knowledge of construction methods and timelinesMaintain awareness of, and appropriately apply, new methodologies, practices, codes, and productsContribute to the selection of materials, furnishings, fixtures, and equipmentActively contribute to the production of major components of a thorough set of construction documentsAssist with contract administration responsibilitiesConduct field verification and site visits as needed Qualifications Qualified designers already exhibit these strengths and talents:This role is an in-office positionDegree from a CIDA accredited Interior Design program or equivalent5+ years of experience in commercial design; Workplace experience strongly preferredDisplay strong design portfolio showing strengths in conceptual design, space planning skills, and detailing Revit proficiency and technical excellenceInterest in sustainable design Professional registration or anticipation of registrationStrong organizational and communication skillsAttention to detailFlexible attitudeAbility to collaborate in a diverse project team environment Confident presentation abilityExperience with FF&E coordination, procurement and installation efforts idealCorgan creates opportunities for personal and professional growth that bring out the best in ourselves and those around us by sharpening skills, leveraging technology, and encouraging communication.
