Endoscopy RN Position Schedule This is a 13-week contract position with varied shifts, available as either 8 or 10 hours. Weekend shifts are scheduled as needed. Job Description The Endoscopy RN will function primarily as an intra-operative circulation nurse, providing care during endoscopic procedures without administering sedation. The role requires knowledge of endoscopy procedures and equipment, ensuring patient safety and effective operation throughout various cases. Responsibilities Assist in endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, EMR, and hemorrhoid banding. Maintain thorough patient records and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal care. Manage patient flow and support surgical tech staff in the GI lab. Participate in on-call duties, typically one weekend per month and additional holidays as scheduled. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure BLS Certification required.
