Lead Electrician

Job Description

The Lead Electrician will oversee and work along side crews doing electrical installations and maintenance for commercial projects, managing small teams and multiple crews to ensure high-quality work and safety compliance. This role involves coordinating project tasks, providing technical training, and troubleshooting electrical systems to meet code standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire electrical systems on commercial projects
• Conduct system testing and troubleshoot electrical issues
• Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with codes
• Lead and supervise small teams and multiple crews
• Coordinate project tasks and timelines
• Oversee maintenance and repair activities
• Provide technical training and guidance to team members

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in electrical work
• Proficient in electrical systems and blueprint reading
• Strong troubleshooting and safety compliance skills
• Demonstrated team leadership and project management abilities
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and time management skills
