Sr Network Engineer/Architect

As a Sr Network Engineer/Architect with MTSI you will provide technical guidance and direction for transport network design and engineering, network routing protocols, advanced virtual networking technologies for missions to support operationsOther Duties:Establish overall strategic network standards and prioritiesPlan large-scale projects through vendor comparison and cost studiesAnalyze the optimization of network system performanceOversee the strategic interface of network systems configurationDesign and define system architecture for new or existing systemsDesign, implement, and maintain hybrid cloud integration with multiple public cloud service providersIdentify COMSEC security requirements for the networks and platformsRequired:20+ years of experience working as a Network Engineer/ArchitectFamiliarity with DoD, IC, and inter-departmental/inter-agency collaborationExpertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, BGP, etc.) and security standards.Familiarity with DoD compliance frameworks.Experience with enterprise-level network monitoring and management tools.Experience in designing and defining system architecture for new or existing systems.Educational Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in a related field REQUIREDMaster's Degree preferredClearance Requirements:Candidate must have a US Top Secret SCI security clearance with SAP experiencePlease Note: U.S. Citizenship is required.The pay range for this position is $180,000/year to $220,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
