Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Denver, Colorado (Hybrid/Flexible)

Basin Solutions is growing and we are looking to add a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our continued expansion across the United States.

We partner with companies across the energy, industrial, manufacturing, construction, power generation, mining, and clean technology sectors. Our clients rely on us because we understand their industries and know how to identify the right people.

This role is based in the Denver area, which serves as a strategic hub for many of the clients and industries we support throughout the western United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment from intake through to offer and placement.
• Source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, referrals, networking, and industry contacts.
• Conduct candidate interviews and technical pre-screens.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines across Colorado and surrounding states.
• Prepare candidate summaries and coordinate interviews with clients.
• Maintain accurate records within our applicant tracking system.
• Develop long-term relationships with both clients and candidates.
• Stay current on hiring trends and labour market conditions within the industries we support.

Qualifications

• Previous agency recruitment experience is preferred.
• Experience in engineering, skilled trades, industrial operations, construction, manufacturing, power generation, mining, or another related technical industry is required.
• A strong understanding of the industries we support is essential. Whether you've worked in the field or spent your career recruiting within these sectors, you should already be comfortable speaking with engineers, tradespeople, technicians, supervisors, plant managers, and operations leaders.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple searches while maintaining a high standard of service.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.

The majority of our placements come from identifying and engaging professionals who are already working in the field, not simply reviewing active applicants. We are looking for someone who knows how to build relationships with those individuals and understands the industries they work in. Industry knowledge is just as important to us as recruitment experience.

Compensation

• Base Salary: USD $80,000 per year
• Commission program
