The MRI Technologist position is based in a facility located in Brooksville, Florida. This role involves operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce diagnostic images, supporting patient care, and adhering to safety protocols. The position offers an opportunity to work within a collaborative team environment in a busy surgical services unit.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evenings, with shifts varying from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM, and 12-hour evening shifts.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in MRI Technology, current state licensure, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Flexibility and reliability are highly valued.
• Additional Information:
  • Location: 11375 Cortez Blvd, Brooksville, FL 34613
  • Facility has 350 beds and includes a surgical services unit with 18 beds and 12 staff members.
  • The unit primarily performs orthopedic, vascular, gynecological, and general procedures.
  • Staff includes ICU/ER backgrounds, with day shift hours varying from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM/12-hour shifts.
  • Typical patient ratios are 1:2, and the unit utilizes GE monitors and EMR systems such as Pyxis/Meditech.
  • Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
  • No specific minimum experience requirement other than the general role expectations.
