Assess patient needs considering cultural, religious, and physical disabilities to determine capabilities in groups and activities. Document patient responses to interventions and progress regularly. Complete assessments within designated timeframes and contribute to workload balance. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution. Experience in a psychiatric healthcare setting, especially with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients, preferred. Current unencumbered certification/license/registration per state guidelines. CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment. Salary range: $22 - $30 per hour.
