Personal Support Worker

$14 - $19 per hour

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to provide high-quality care to clients in Barton Hills, MI. In this role, you will assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in their own homes.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Assist with mobility and transfers, helping clients move safely between locations.
Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
Monitor and report any changes in clients’ physical or emotional condition.
Help with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to all policies and procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar role is a plus but not required.
Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members.
Certification or training in personal support or healthcare is an asset.
Reliable transportation to the Barton Hills, MI location.
Willingness to undergo background checks.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting clients.
