Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.A Rehabilitation Technician who excels in this role:Performs accurate, comprehensive patient evaluations and treatmentsProvides training, direction and guidance for subordinate rehab staffWrites accurate, complete and clear documentationEnsures the timely evaluation and treatment of patients in the most effective and efficient manner possibleOversees risk management operations for the Rehab department in the facilityDemonstrates appropriate utilization of resources including billing accurately for services providedFollow patient care tasks as determined by the OTR/RPT to help patients achieve therapy goals.Safely transport patients to and from therapy and other activities.Communicate clearly (verbally and in writing) with members of the rehabilitation team.Observe and recognize patient reactions to treatment; follow instructions accurately.Lift and carry equipment, supplies, and materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basis; use proper body mechanics.Perform other duties as assigned.We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. Additional requirements include:1-3 years of experience in rehabilitation or in a long-term care setting preferredCurrent CPR certification requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent.Effective verbal and written communication; ability to follow directions; patient transport and safe lifting techniques (up to 50 lbs); observation and basic documentation; reliability, teamwork, and time management.Lifepoint Rehabilitation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
