About the Position

Job Title: PACU and Operating Room Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Pre-Op, Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Full time, Tuesday-Friday Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years of OR circulator experience License: Current, full, and unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (BSN or ADN) - 3 years of OR circulator experience Description: This position is located in the Operating Room. It involves handling various elective and emergency cases, including abdominal, thoracic, urology, ENT, plastic, orthopedics, vascular, and OB/GYN. The nurse must efficiently multi-task to ensure that surgical cases proceed in a timely manner. After-hours call services are utilized to staff the Operating Rooms for nights, holidays, and weekends. Candidates should have experience in a rural or critical access hospital setting. Experience in operating rooms is essential, and travelers are encouraged to submit their resumes for review.
