Registered Nurse

Responsibilities The Registered Nurse (RN), under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer, provides physical assessments of residents, implements residents’ treatment plans, evaluates response to treatment, provides complete documentation, performs physical restraint assessments, administers medications as prescribed, and provides health‑care education for residents and families. The RN supervises the daily duties of the Mental Health Techs and LPN staff, ensuring all residents are maintained in a safe environment. Duties are performed in accordance with the ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care, facility mission, values, policies, and behavioral standards.
