Our West Los Angeles Legal Support Department is comprised of highly skilled and motivated individuals, who are seeking a dynamic self‑starter to join our growing team! Job Description The desired Legal Assistant will provide support to attorneys by engaging in the following tasks: Assist with complex document production, drafting pleadings, discovery and correspondence Create Table of Contents and Table of Authorities Prepare court filings and file with various courts (traditional and e‑filings) Communicate with court staff regarding various issues Handle outgoing and incoming mail/FedEx for assigned attorneys Maintain calendars for assigned attorneys Prepare Trial Memorandum and calendar all appearances/deadlines Schedule Depositions, Mediations, as well as handling all calendaring for assigned attorneys Scan and upload documents to the document management system and create templates for new files Answer telephones, take detailed messages.
