J&A Services LLC is seeking a motivated and personable Fence Estimator / Sales Representative to meet with prospective clients, evaluate fencing projects, prepare accurate estimates, and help guide customers through the sales process.

This is a field-based position that combines sales, customer service, and construction estimating. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, comfortable communicating with customers, and willing to learn the different fencing materials, installation methods, and requirements involved in residential, commercial, and equestrian fencing.

** Responsibilities: **

• Meet with prospective clients at residential, commercial, and equestrian properties throughout our service area.
• Discuss the client's fencing needs, preferences, and project expectations.
• Measure job sites accurately and document existing site conditions.
• Recommend appropriate fencing materials, styles, heights, gates, and other options based on the client's needs.
• Prepare accurate estimates based on measurements, materials, labor requirements, and project specifications.
• Explain project scope clearly to clients.
• Follow up with prospective clients regarding outstanding estimates and project decisions.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers throughout the sales process.
• Identify opportunities for additional work or services when appropriate.
• Take clear job-site photos, measurements, notes, and other information needed by the office and installation crews.
• Identify potential installation concerns, access issues, existing fencing, terrain conditions, or other factors that may affect the project.
• Prepare accurate material order sheets for approved projects.
• Verify material quantities, fence specifications, gates, hardware, and specialty items before submitting material orders.
• Communicate approved project details and special requirements clearly to the office and field team.
• Coordinate with management regarding unusual projects, pricing questions, material requirements, or installation concerns.
• Maintain organized records of appointments, estimates, measurements, photos, and customer information.
• Represent J&A Services professionally while meeting with clients and visiting properties.
• Maintain communication with the office regarding appointments, project status, and customer needs.

** Qualifications: **

• Previous experience in sales, estimating, construction, fencing, landscaping, or a related field preferred.
• Sales experience and the ability to communicate confidently with customers.
• Strong measuring and basic math skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple appointments and estimates.
• Basic computer and mobile technology skills.
• Ability to learn fencing materials, installation methods, terminology, and pricing.
• Professional appearance and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to work outdoors and walk job sites in South Florida weather conditions.
• Familiarity with residential, commercial, or equestrian construction is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required ** . **

** What We're Looking For: **

We are looking for someone who can combine strong customer service with accurate estimating. This person should be comfortable talking with customers, asking the right questions, understanding what they are looking for, and confidently helping them choose the best fencing solution for their property.

Accuracy is equally important. The information collected during the estimate becomes the foundation for material ordering, scheduling, and installation, so measurements, photos, notes, and project details must be complete and accurate.

The right person will be personable, dependable, motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of the sales and estimating process.
