Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical and Telemetry care. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients within a hospital setting in Globe, Arizona. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and continuous monitoring of telemetry patients, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered outcomes.

The nurse will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, managing a diverse patient population requiring acute and sub-acute care. Flexibility to float to other units as needed is a key requirement for this position, contributing to the overall efficiency and patient care delivery of the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop, and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and manage wound care according to physician orders and hospital policies.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for telemetry patients, promptly reporting changes to the medical team.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, other nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to float to other units as required by patient census and facility needs.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting.
• Ability to provide comprehensive care to adult patients.
• Willingness to float to other units as needed.
