Project Schedule The Project Scheduler plays a critical role in the successful planning, coordination, and execution of utility and construction projects. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, updating, and submitting project schedules for multiple projects while ensuring compliance with contract requirements. The Scheduler works closely with project managers, field teams, clients, and stakeholders to monitor project progress, identify schedule risks, and support timely project completion . This is a great opportunity located near Elk Grove Village, IL. Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules for multiple Transmission & Distribution projects.
• Prepare baseline schedules and monitor project progress against established milestones and deliverables.
• Collect, track, and analyze project data to ensure schedule accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
• Update schedules regularly to reflect actual project progress, scope changes, and resource requirements.
• Identify schedule variances, critical path activities, potential delays, and recovery opportunities.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, field personnel, and subcontractors to gather scheduling information and status updates.
• Prepare and submit contract schedules, schedule updates, and progress reports in accordance with client requirements.
• Participate in project planning meetings and provide scheduling support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist project teams with forecasting project completion dates and resource allocation needs.
• Monitor key project milestones and communicate schedule impacts to management and stakeholders.
• Support risk identification and mitigation efforts related to project schedules.
• Generate schedule reports, dashboards, and project performance metrics for management review.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure scheduling records are accurate and up to date.
• Assist with the development and implementation of scheduling best practices and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of project scheduling, project controls, construction, utility, or related experience.
• Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling principles, critical path methodology (CPM), and project controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience supporting Transmission & Distribution, utility, infrastructure, engineering, or construction projects.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and project lifecycle processes.
• Experience preparing client-facing reports and contract deliverables.
• Familiarity with earned value management and project performance metrics.

Job Details:

• Contract to Hire
• 100% onsite
• Pay $27- $35 an hour, depending on experience

Pay Details: $27.00 to $35.00 per hour
