Accountant

This position will be responsible for interpreting, analysing and auctioning material master data setup requests for North America. This role will partner with Supply Chain and Regions to ensure material master data is accurately updated in a timely manner and in accordance with data standards, policies and procedures. Furthermore, this role will ensure that the standard costs are calculated properly, and will perform data quality checks to make certain the integrity of the data in SAP is of the highest standard. Primary Responsibilities Interpret, analyze and action material master data setup requests within the SAP environment Maintain Bill of Materials, Master Recipes and Resources within SAP Perform Standard Cost Validations Committed to the highest level of customer service Communicate with other master data team members about creation status and data readiness Respond to queries from business within agreed timeframes Ensure the highest quality of data integrity within the SAP environment Ensure compliance to client standard procedures and Company policies Maintain highest level of confidentiality concerning client pricing structure and product roll outs Foundation Skills Team Skills/Collaboration – Work effectively in a team environment Thinking Analytically – Analyse information to provide clear and concise recommendations Exercising Judgment – Generate alternatives and assist in selecting the best option Project Management/Prioritizing – Ensure the timely completion of designated objectives Speaking and Writing – Clearly articulate relevant ideas, opinions and information Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance Excellent analytical approach Understanding of production, warehouse and distribution processes Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong communication and influence skills Solid business writing skills Proficient in Microsoft Office products; knowledge of advanced Excel functionality and knowledge of Access is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr TPI Staffing Inc.
