Share Apply Full-time $25.00 - 30.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance works to avoid possible failures and malfunctions
• Assist in developing preventive and corrective maintenance programs
• Complete daily work assignments in a timely and accurate manner
• Analyze repair requests and troubleshoot them
• Perform machine fabrications
• Perform installations, assembling, fittings, repairs, and replacements as needed
• Handle emergency maintenance and repair works
• Stock adequate maintenance materials and equipment to avoid shortages and excesses
• Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary
• Operate maintenance equipment safely to avoid accidents
• Maintain the maintenance tools and equipment in safe, clean, and good working conditions
• Provide assistance to co-workers when needed
• Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, OSHA, GMP, and SQF Standards
• Uphold attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure with constant deadlines
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish is a plus, but not required
• At least one (1) year of experience as a mechanic
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must pass a Motor Vehicle Check
• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required. Willingness to learn Forklift required
• Experience with Excel, Email, Word

Physical Demands of the Position

• Constant standing, walking, bending, etc.
• Occasional lifting and moving of various mechanical parts (up to 50lbs)
• Senses: Hearing, sight (near, far), smell

Environmental Factors

• Exposure to noise, heat, dust, and fumes
• Rolling conveyors and forklifts present

Pay is between $25-$30
