What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal care based on each patient's individual needs.
• Perform periodontal charting, radiographs, oral health assessments, prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and other hygiene services within your scope of practice.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, preventive care, and recommended treatment.
• Partner with the dentist to identify treatment needs and support comprehensive patient care.
• Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their dental care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation while following established safety and infection-control standards.
• Contribute to a positive, welcoming environment for patients and teammates.

What We're Looking For

• Current Arkansas Dental Hygienist license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to starting.
• A patient-first approach and strong communication skills.
• Someone who enjoys educating patients and building lasting relationships.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality standard of care through preventive treatments, diagnostics, and evidence-based protocols. Educate and motivate patients toward better oral and overall health. Collaborate with dentists and hygiene teammates to co-diagnose and personalize treatment. Create a welcoming, judgement-free environment for every patient. Stay current with new technologies and instruments that advance care.

Qualifications

A licensed dental hygienist who is passionate about patient care, education, and practicing at the top of their scope to improve oral health outcomes. Either an active state hygiene license or eligibility to become licensed (new grads are welcome!). A current CPR certification.

$48-$50 per hour
