As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients in a Level 3 trauma center. You will have the opportunity to work with both Medical/Surgical and PCU status patients, ensuring high-quality care in a supportive environment. Your responsibilities will include:

Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitoring patient progress and documenting in the EPIC charting system
Floating to Telemetry and Med Surg units as needed
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
Maintaining compliance with required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
Working every other weekend and being the first to float, with up to 2 extra mandatory shifts per 6 weeks

Requirements for this position include:

Active RN license
Need 1 year experience in setting
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage a 1:4 or 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
